A 25 + year veteran in both marketing and sales, Kelly has worked with Fortune 500 brands, most notably the Ryland Group, Pulte Group, RE/MAX, and Pearle Vision. She was one of the key marketing team members of Rollerblade – a company that helped build the inline skate industry to $1 Billion and turned Rollerblade into a household name. She has also worked with Mattamy Homes, Canada’s largest homebuilder. She created the children’s educational product, Bye Bye Monster™ that was featured in Neiman Marcus and has partnered with celebrities such as Jenny McCarthy as a contributor to her Generation Rescue Foundation.
Kelly has won both Gold and Silver NAHB Salesperson of the Year Awards four times in consecutive years and Dr. Toy Awards twice for product innovation.
Kelly plays an integral role at her agency as lead brand strategist and creative director. She focuses on shaping client engagement and spearheads all strategic innovation to transform corporate brands. Her expertise is helping businesses attract the right customer, gain market share, and increase revenue.
She wrote MOO-LAH-GY to share the secret sauce of branding that many of her clients fly to Minnesota in minus 45 degrees wind-chill to get.
Kelly divides her time between Re-Tool Marketing® and her personal brand, Brand by Kelly™, which focuses on client initiative, small-group workshops, books on brand, and keynote speaking. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys time with her family (especially her son, Joey) and giving back to her community as an active member of Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota Foundation, as an advisory board member for the Entrepreneurship Class at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and as a mentor for the MN Cup, a statewide, new-venture competition for entrepreneurs.
