A2D Academy is an educational nonprofit, founded by Allison and Alex Deme in 2022, dedicated to fostering a love for the arts and education for K-5 students. Initially an afterschool program, its success led to expanded offerings, including summer camps, Kids Night Out events, birthday parties, and a comprehensive homeschool hybrid program. This family-run nonprofit is committed to community service, prioritizing accessibility and quality in its educational initiatives.

Speaker: Allison Deme
Allison Deme, Co-Founder and Executive Director of A2D Academy, is an experienced educator. Holding a BA and MA in Elementary Education, she has over 15 years of classroom experience teaching Kindergarten through 5th grades, and as a reading specialist. Leading A2D Academy fulfills a lifelong professional goal, combining her passion for teaching and the arts. Her commitment to cultivating a supportive and educational environment is further informed by her role as a mother of two daughters.

The Sunrise Edina Business Breakfast is a networking event created to bring small- to medium-sized businesses in the Edina community together for an opportunity to learn more about our local businesses, gain knowledge through education, and share business challenges and opportunities.
