Each year the Edina Chamber of Commerce recognizes individuals from the Edina business community who exemplify the best Edina has to offer in terms of integrity, commitment, and dedication.
The prestigous Business Person of the Year award is selected based on the following criteria:
~Actively supports private enterprise through the use of sound business practices
~Operates a successful business organization
~Demonstrates creativity and innovative ideas in the Edina marketplace
~Displays a long-term (five years or more) commitment to the community
~Positively contributes to Edina's quality of life

The chamber staff selects one dedicated chamber member for Volunteer of the Year. Additionally, the Edina Chamber awards Teacher of the Year to a teacher in the Edina Public Schools and scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
